Our History:
In 1998, Comfy Creatures was founded by Roberta Hodge. Working as a vet tech, Roberta would often provide care for pets recovering from surgery or injuries. Realizing that some of the pets would likely do better in a familiar and quieter environment, Roberta began to provide care for them in their homes. Before long, Roberta saw the need for specialized pet care in her community, and Comfy Creatures was formed. Tragically, Roberta’s life ended in 2012, but the organization she founded carries on with love and devotion in her honor. Our team continues to grow in number as well as experience & accomplishments. We conduct an annual food and supplies drive and participate in several rescue fundraiser events. We remain dedicated to a high standard of professional, loving, reliable pet care, and truly provide the best care, when you’re not there.
