Last Day Dog Rescue and Tail Waggers 1990
LAST DAY DOG RESCUE is a no-kill rescue made up entirely of volunteers. LDDR is based in Livonia with foster homes across Michigan, providing safety, medical care, training and LOVE, saving thousands of dogs and cats for over 10 years. While they will help all types of animals, their focus is on saving those who would most likely not be saved without help – often rescuing an animal the day it is scheduled to be euthanized, hence, the last day. LDDR is founded on the principle that all life is precious. This is an amazing team of people doing incredible work to save and help animals in need.
TAIL WAGGERS est. 1990 is a unique nonprofit animal wellness clinic in Livonia, Michigan. For 27 years, Tail Waggers has been providing the community with pet care at an affordable price. Procedures such as vaccinations and spay/neuter help keep pets healthy and even extend their lives, and Tail Waggers wants to help pet owners do both. Donations of supplies like potty pads and cotton rounds help with the care they provide. The team at Tail Waggers also understands that sometimes people face financial hardship, so they offer Pantry4Paws, the only pet food assistance program in the metro-Detroit area. Food and treat donations to our drive help support this important endeavor!
